Vicolo Ruga is found in the historic center of Montalcino and accessed from a small, serene laneway.  This 2 bedroom spacious, apartment is located on the top floor of one of the early Montalcino stone and rendered homes and during the later months of 2001, was lovingly restored by its owners, a young village couple.

The natural beauty of the original brick floors and timber/tile ceilings remains - numerous layers of paint were stripped from the huge front door to evidence the warmth and grain of the timber below.   Homes need a "personal" touch and this is certainly evidenced by the owners' careful selection of Tuscan furniture and accessories that add comfort, function and style.  Here you have a home to come back to after your day in the countryside.

Two bedrooms, spacious dining/living room bathed in sunlight through the day, a fireplace for the cooler evenings and a fully equipped timber kitchen complete this delightful package.  Of course, being located in the historic center, you have village culture and lifestyle, our famed Brunello, restaurants, bars, groceries and all kinds of shopping within a few minutes walk ....... oh yes, a very regular bus service to Siena and from there, to cities and villages beyond.
