VICOLO DUE, is located in the historic center of Montalcino and yet, for those traveling by car, only 100 or so meters from our free parking area directly behind the Comune.  The front door to the residence opens onto a small, serene laneway which then leads you to the heart of the village.   This particular apartment became available to guests during April 2003 and after months of total restoration.  Vicolo Due,  is one of two apartments we have available in this ancient building just paces away from the heart of the village, restaurants, shops, parking and a variety of additional services.

The owner carefully restored the original features where-ever possible - timber/tile ceilings, terracotta floors, and shutters remained while the added mix of both Tuscan and modern furniture provides the comfort, function and style of today's Montalcino.  Vicolo Due's kitchen and bathroom (with shower) were completely replaced;  the original fireplace, now restored and functional, adds to the warmth and charm of the living area during the cooler months.

Like all our apartments, Vicolo Due is fully furnished and self contained and can accommodate up to four guests.  The main bedroom is fitted with a large matrimonial bed while the second room, which has a small terrace (2 people maximum) overlooking the internal neighboring gardens, can be used as a study or second bedroom - this room is fitted with two large comfortable arm chairs that with ease, convert to single beds.
